New bank opening hours from October 1

As of October 1 banks will be open to the public as per the winter timetable, which is from Monday to Friday from 8.30 am until 1.30 pm and on Monday afternoons from 3.15pm until 4.45pm.

This schedule will last until April 2014, according to a statement released on Friday.

“The strict keeping of the service hours is necessary for the smooth running of the banks and their business. The public is asked to go to banks within the time slots declared,” the statement said.
