Man injured in ladder fall in Paphos

A 45-year-old Paphos man, Christakis Christofi, lost his balance and fell three metres from a ladder on Monday afternoon, injuring his back and his head.

The accident happened at around 1.30pm as Christofi was waterproofing his roof.

He was taken to Paphos general hospital where he was treated for a skull fracture and other head injuries. Christofi is being held in the intensive care unit where his condition is said to be serious but not life threatening.
