Car arson in Larnaca

 

A JEEP owned by a Lithuanian woman, a permanent resident, was completely destroyed after being set on fire in the early hours in Larnaca.

According to police the car was parked at the entrance of the building where the woman lives on Prousis Street in the Ayios Ioannis area.

The fire was spotted by residents, who called the fire department. Firefighters extinguished the blaze before it managed to spread to nearby cars.

Investigations showed that the fire was an arson attack, which completely destroyed the Jeep worth €8,000.
