Former Clerides aide’s car broken into

THE CAR belonging Pantelis Kouros, the undersecretary and close friend to former President Glafcos Clerides was broken into and had its tyres slashed overnight on Wednesday night, police said on Thursday.

A window was smashed in, both left tyres were punctured and a number of discs were taken from the vehicle which was parked in the underground parking of Kouros’ home in Nicosia. The incident was reported by a neighbour, police said. CID is investigating.
