Cyclist injured on the road

A 28-year-old Bulgarian man was seriously injured in a road accident on Sunday afternoon on the seafront avenue in Paphos.

The car of a 32-year-old Briton, a permanent resident, collided with the Bulgarian who was riding a bike on a pedestrian crossing under conditions being investigated.
The cyclist was seriously injured and was taken to Paphos General Hospital.
He suffered leg and head injuries and ruptured kidney and was later transferred to Nicosia general due to the seriousness of his injuries.
The 32-year-old driver was arrested.
