Father of one killed in crash

A father of one, Nicolas Assiotos, 25 was killed on Saturday morning in a road accident in the industrial area of Aradippou in the Larnaca district.

According to the Larnaca press news agency the conditions of the accident are being investigated but it appears that high speed caused Assiotis to collide with a van driven by Michalis Demetriou from Limassol, who was lightly injured in the accident.

According to reports, the van was turning right to go into a factory premises when it was hit by Assiotis’ vehicle.  Assiotis had not been able to brake on time, the reports said.
