The current weather might recall anything other than the great memories of the summer spent at a beach bar but there is a spot on the Makenzie strip that has adapted its establishment to make it as luring as it is in mid July
While the term ‘something for everyone’ is bandied about, in the case of Lush Beach Bar & Restaurant there is no more applicable term.
There is a large outdoor seating area consisting primarily of large, comfortable couches as well as the traditional set of stools surrounding the outside bar. A similar setup is replicated inside with the addition of several rows of dining tables for the restaurant, that serves until around 11pm
For early risers, the large inside seating area with a view of the beach is a great place to sit down for a morning beverage with a wide array of coffees and teas to choose from.
When it comes to food, the restaurant offers a variety of both traditional and foreign dishes, in particular its very own sushi section will make even those previously apprehensive about the Japanese food go back for seconds.
The bar draws in a younger crowd and has recently become one of the preferred nightspots in Larnaca due to its upbeat and lively atmosphere. The selection of cocktails includes house specialities that are well worth a try including a MoSkino or a Passion Fruit Caipirinha – delicious!
Its music always moves from ambient to mainstream hits, maintaining a unique sound and an upbeat vibe throughout the day and in the month of February they are mixing it up by bringing Christos Dantis as a special guest each Sunday until February 19.
The Greek singer, songwriter, and musician is best known for his hits such as ‘To Palio Mou Palto’ and ‘Ena Tragoudi Akoma’ and later for composing and co-writing the song ‘My Number One’ for Elena Paparizou, winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 for Greece.
Lush Beach Bar Resto is open seven days a week and bookings for Private Parties and Company events are available all year upon request.
