Elena Skordelli admitted to Nicosia General Hospital

 

14:20 ELENA Skordelli has been admitted to hospital with ‘Serious health’ problems today, according to the Sigma live website.

Ahead of the commencement of the hearing before the Criminal Court for the brutal murder of Andis Hadjicostis, Skordelli’s lawyer said she was suffering from a serious health condition that had worsened over the weekend.

The lawyer insisted her condition was not frivolous but required immediate medical care. 

The Assize Court judge, with the assent of the prosecutor approved the lawyer’s request for Skordelli to be allowed treatment and she was taken to Nicosia General Hospital.

Meanwhile, the trial continued with the cross-examination by defence witness Marios Cariolou, Director of the Institute of Neurology and Genetics.
