MTN offers free Wi-Fi at airports

MTN Cyprus is now offering free wireless Internet access to all travelers going through Larnaca and Paphos airports, the company announced yesterday.

Travelers can enjoy free high-speed internet access using their laptop, mobile phone, tablet or other device, through the MTN WiFi wireless network internet access points that are installed at each airport.

At Larnaca airport, MTN has set up more than 25 spots with free WiFi access points, covering the departure area: check-in, cafes, gates, and duty free shops.

At the Paphos airport, WiFi access points cover almost all locations, the company said.

MTN has also installed internet kiosks in both airports (internet access points with screen and keyboard), for travelers who might need internet access but do not carry an internet access device.

MTN’s CEO Pieter Verkade said: “MTN has invested and continues to invest in providing consumers with the best available services in the market. The fact that Hermes Airports trusted us in providing wireless internet access at the airports, gives us great satisfaction as it acknowledges our network’s potential.”
