How to be green and influence people

There is a need for a public transportation system for Nicosia. What we need is a trolley, train, or tube that will transport the citizens of Cyprus efficiently and quickly. Luckily, a system like this has already begun, with the recent upgrade of the extremely old buses.

The new buses are now more accessible for people with mobility issues. The fare is affordable and they’re clean and comfortable. It’s interesting to note that the improvement of the service has led to a dramatic increase ?n use in recent months.

?ll European capitals have efficient public transportation systems. Nicosia needs one, too, especially for citizens who are physically challenged.

In addition to the buses, ? would like to suggest the city offer other means of transportation, such as an underground train or a trolley. This way, one wouldn’t have to wait in nerve-racking Nicosia traffic.

These systems would be a great help for low-income families who might not be able to afford a car.

With the current bus fare being ?nly one euro, it’s hard to resist using public transportation.

Save the environment. Isn’t that what everyone says we need to do?

?urn off the lights and reduce time on electronic devices to save energy. Well how about not using cars? Reduce emissions. With a public transportation system, lots of cars wouldn’t have to be used. This would reduce the fumes that pollute our environment and destroy the ozone layer.

Plus, we could all make new friends on the way to work in the morning.
