Cyprus’ reputation is floundering

Having just read the Cyprus Mail online, the letters section makes frightening reading for any potential holidaymakers or property purchasers.

Almost 80 per cent of the letters cover, rip off prices, rip off hotels, no title deeds details, warring taxi drivers, profiteering doctors – do I need to continue?

I am sure if I was looking to book a family holiday in Paphos, I would think twice. And if I was considering purchasing a holiday home, it would certainly not be in Cyprus under the current legislation.
 
I live here, love the island and love the life – but please, Mr President, please pass some laws to stop some of the above subjects spoiling Cyprus’ future.
