Don’t solar heating panels count anymore?

With all this talk about the need to go green, I think they are severely missing something – especially when it comes to renewable energy sources.

Will somebody please wake up and tell both the government and the EU that Cyprus has been doing it’s bit for long before the EU poked its nose in and started dishing out penalties? Look on the roof of practically every building and you’ll see solar water heaters. Surely this has to count as renewable energy usage?
