Cyprus just can’t compete

Greece and Cyprus suffer from intense noise pollution that is augmented by the warm atmosphere and hot temperatures during the summer months.

It is pollution at a non-European level that both diminishes tourism and prevents it reaching a higher economic level of visitor.

Terrible roads, abundant litter and garbage, ubiquitous smoking, grating noise, vulgar public chatter and contempt for public order will assure that Greece and Cyprus will always be in competition for a mass tourism at the lower economic  levels.
