Wheelchair pinching at Nicosia hospital

Of course people are going to pinch wheelchairs – it’s a mile and a half from the wards to the car park!

Could I suggest an obviously simple solution: a wheelchair rental/sale shop within the hospital, for one hour/week/month?

My hubby needed a wheelchair to get from cardiac surgical to a car to bring him home seven days after surgery, it took about an hour to locate a wheelchair, then 10 minutes to transfer him to waiting car.

At this time, I would have gladly paid €20 to borrow a wheelchair for an hour – add that up for a year with the number of very happy to be discharged patients.
