UN SPECIAL envoy Alexander Downer is expected to give the two leaders a pep talk when he joins them in their next meeting on Friday.

Following an investigation by the Road Transport Department, the owners of the testing centres were found guilty of issuing certificates of roadworthiness to cars that had never been inspected.

Shop owner celebrates the end of road works

THE owner of an IT shop in central Nicosia has marked the completion of lengthy road works in his street while also displaying a sense of humor.

To celebrate the opening of the road, the owner put up a poster in the shop window displaying three orangutans , with the caption ‘Thank you for finishing, it was only four months overdue, take care’.
