Holidays with Steve

Sir,

It’s a privilege having a close friend in the media business, especially one who puts mind to paper in a respected and well circulated daily on the island. I’m Steve, who makes the odd appearance in Stefanos Evripidou’s column, thrilled to have a half-page mention in the last issue of the Sunday Mail. There’s even a picture of me staring at a brick wall, described as admiring the charm of Barcelona’s heritage.

Now, I don’t deny any of the facts mentioned; the cheap falafel dinners, dodgy hostel, sharing cervezas chilled in garbage bins and innocent attention to Nigerian prostitutes was indeed my initiative. Neither do I mind the publicity; facebook already tarnished my image. Just wanted to say we had a hell of a holiday (when I was awake) and welcome anyone wishing to travel to the Iberian Peninsula to contact me for advice. No families with children.
