Murder suspect in custody

A 22-YEAR-OLD murder suspect was arrested during a sting operation at Paphos airport yesterday afternoon, reports said.

The suspect, wanted by German authorities, was arrested during the undercover operation when he went to the operation to collect a relative.

Information that the Georgian man was in Cyprus had been received by the German authorities who dispatched officers to the island and in collaboration with local police set up yesterday’s operation.

The suspect will appear in court today to begin the extradition process to Germany.
