Key Nicosia road one-way for four months

THE PUBLIC Works Department of the Transport Ministry announced yesterday that the section of Themistokli Dervi Street in Nicosia, starting from the Florini Street junction until the traffic lights on Evagorou/Diagorou Avenue, will be made a one-way street with traffic allowed to flow towards the lights on Evagorou Avenue.

This will be implemented starting August 18, for a period of roughly four months.

During this time, access to buildings may be affected and, when required, alternative access points will be established.

The public can get relevant and immediate information from the contractor on the site as well as from the staff at the Department.

The Public Works Department apologises to the public for the unavoidable hindrance that will result from these works and requests that the public shows the required understanding and adheres to the temporary road signs and any instructions from the police.
