Police hunt beach pervert

SOVEREIGN Base Area Police are on the hunt for a man witnessed carrying out indecent acts of a sexual nature in a public place.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 16, at 9am on Lady’s Mile Beach between KAOA and the Bishop restaurant.

The offender is described as being aged between 28 and 35, and between five and six feet tall with a skinny build and dark complexion.

He reportedly has straight dark hair with a long ponytail that almost reaches his waist line. The man also has a tattoo on his shoulder blade, which is described as being the size of a large palm. The design and colour of the tattoo are unknown.

He has a thin face, which was unshaven, while his chest is believed to not be very hairy.

At the time of the incident, he was seen using a small, old saloon vehicle, believed to be a two-door hatchback, possibly a Mazda, of black colour. The rear number plate of the vehicle was missing.
