Theatre probe committee sworn in

The Investigative Committee for examining the reasons behind the Municipal Theatre roof’s collapse was yesterday sworn in. In the presence of Culture and Education Minister Andreas Demetriou, the three-member committee appointed by the Cabinet was officially announced yesterday.

The committee will be headed by Civil Engineering professor George Ioannides, while his assistants are civil engineers Panicos Papadopoulos and Costas Meletiou.

The Committee will officially begin investigating the case next week.
