CYPRUS marked “a momentous occasion” yesterday as negotiators for the Greek and Turkish Cypriot communities launched negotiations that will pave the way to fully-fledged negotiations in just over two months time.

A meeting will be held at the Attorney-general’s office on Tuesday to discuss what will become of the 200 boxes of hunting bullets that were confiscated at Larnaca Airport on Thursday night.

The container, filled with 2,440 kilos of bullets, was headed towards Sudan via Amman.
