Greek strike affects CY flights

A TOTAL of six Cyprus Airways flights will be affected by today’s 24-hour national strike in Greece.

The GSEE and ADEDY strike, under whose umbrella the Greek Civil Aviation Authority lies, will affect three return flights to Athens, Salonica and Heraklion.
Cyprus Airways said yesterday it had readjusted its flight schedule to accommodate travellers.

Passengers travelling on the 4pm CY336 flight from Larnaca to Athens and the 6.45pm CY337 flight from Athens to Larnaca would now depart on the 7pm CY348 and the 9.35pm CY349 flights respectively.

Today’s CY426 Larnaca-Salonica flight at 12.30pm has been pushed forward almost 12 hours to 12.10am on March 20. The return CY427 Salonica-Larnaca flight, originally scheduled for departure at 3.20pm will instead depart at 3am tomorrow.

Finally the 6.20pm CY468 flight from Larnaca to Heraklion will now depart at 7.30pm and the CY469 Herklion-Larnaca flight, originally scheduled for 8.40pm will instead depart at 9.50pm.
