Two cars torched in Limassol

TWO cars, belonging to different people, were set on fire while parked outside a house in Limassol yesterday.

The fires broke out at 4.15am and the fire brigade was called in at once. Police officers, including Limassol’s Deputy Police Chief, also arrived at the scene.

Following investigation it was found the fire had been set deliberately, as both cars had been covered with inflammable material before they were set on fire.

As a result of the fire, the front part of one of the cars was completely destroyed, while minor damage was caused to the second vehicle. The cars belonged to two different people, both from Limassol.

Police are investigating.
