High dust levels in the air

THE LABOUR Ministry yesterday warned of an increased concentration of dust particles in the atmosphere.

A statement said the concentration was more than four times the normal, and advised vulnerable sectors of the population, especially children, the elderly and the sick to avoid open spaces until the air clears. Workers in open spaces are advised to use suitable means of personal protection.
