Cocktail of the week with Fabrizio Musorella

Pure Greek

The blender is your best friend to create summer’s sexiest and exotic cocktails. It is not too difficult to use but there are a few basic rules to know in order to get the best out of a recipe. Points to consider include: what order the ingredients should be put into the blender; all liquid ingredients should be added first and should be measured in a measurement cup. Fruits should be fresh, fresh frozen or concentrated and the more frozen fruit used the less ice although some frozen fruits can be harder to blend than ice. All ice is not the same and each contains a different amount of air and will react differently in a blender and is often measured by the glass the drink will be served in, giving a good consistency to the drink you are making. Salute!
