Minister a witness to horror crash

A MAN was killed yesterday in a horrific car crash in front of the eyes of Agriculture Minister Fotis Fotiou.

Nicosia resident Andreas Stylianou, 24, was killed instantly when he lost control of his Volkswagon Golf and crashed at high speed into the side-railings of the Rizoelias roundabout on the Nicosia – Larnaca motorway.

The accident occurred at around 4.45pm.

Louis adds new ship to replace sunken Sea Diamond

LOUIS CRUISE Lines yesterday announced it had acquired a new vessel to replace the Sea Diamond that sank of the Greek island of Santorini last month.

A statement from Louis said it had acquired the MV Opera from Opera Company Acquisition LCC for $49 million.
