Cocktail of the week with Fabrizio Musorella

Profumo
Sambuca is an aniseed-flavoured liqueur made in Italy. The name originated from the Latin name for elder, a shrub which, along with anise, is an essential ingredient in all Sambucas. First produced in the twenty century, Sambuca is traditionally served Con Mosca, meaning with flies and is flamed in the glass with three coffee beans. The beans signify health, wealth and happiness. Although for its particular taste, Sambuca is not an easy partner in cocktails, there are still a few recipes worth a try, such as this after dinner cocktail. Salute!
