POLICE have arrested three British nationals believed to be part of a ring that has already stolen around £20,000 from bank accounts around the island with the use of forged credit cards.

CyTA gets another fine for abuse of power

TELECOM giant CyTA has been fined £22,000 for abuse of its dominant position in the industry, in denying competitors access to its automated SMS centre.

The penalty was handed down by the Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC), which ruled in favour of a complaint made by Golden Telemedia against CyTA.

Recycling units heading to a municipality near you

ALL OF THE island’s municipalities will soon have their own recycling units for old cars and electrical equipment.
