Cocktail of the week with Fabrizio Musorella

Rusty Nail
Drambuie is a spirit made from a mixture of Scottish herbs with blends of malt and grain Scotch and honey. Commercially, it was produced only after 1906, but it has a history that dates back to the 1740s. The name is a phonetic rendering of the Scottish phrase dram buidheach – “the drink that satisfies”. This is a very popular after-dinner cocktail with an inviting goldy hue and a pronounced taste of honey, a charcteristic of Drambuie. Salute!
Ingredients
4cl Scotch whisky
3cl Drambuie
Preparation
Pour the whisky into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Add the Drambuie and stir. Garnish with a thin twist of lemon peel.
