Take 7 Hair accessories

Okay, I’m a slave to the latest craze of hair accessories that shout bling. This trend was started by celebrities like Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron, but now everyone from sales assistants to high flyers are wearing them. The simple act of wearing a gorgeous hair accessory can change your entire look. With these hot seven items, there is just no excuse for not looking your best!

Oasis at Debenhams
A great way to jazz up your ponytail, rather than just tying your hair up with an unexciting elastic band (which is now so d?mod? in the century of bling). This faux diamond design is a cheap way to add some style to your hairdo. Only available in one colour.
Price: £10 (now reduced to £7)

Art & Hair
These sophisticated hairpins are great if you have longish hair that you don’t know how to style for a big night out. Just whip your locks into a neat bun and stick these pins into your new do – and voila, effortless elegance has been achieved.

Lepus
Like the hairpins at Art & Hair, this hair stick is a must for all those who need a quick fix for their long, lackluster hair. The glimmering purple stones that are set in the shape of a flower will give shine to even the dullest of hair, and at just over £4, it’s the perfect gift for any gal who has a weakness for sparkly accessories.

Xenia Bijoux
Despite the off-putting name, this delicate looking hair fork is decorated with deep red and gold stones that would complement both brunette and blond hair colours. Though a bit on the large size for thin hair, the shop is full of eccentric looking accessories that are guaranteed to satisfy all hair (and head) types!

Egyptiako
Okay, so I practically fell in love with all the classy hair accessories at this shop, nearly giving in to the temptation to buy all my bridal accessories from now (even though I’m only 21 and haven’t yet even thought about marriage!). It really was hard for me to choose just one item from the entire hand-made collection, but I think this exquisite hairpin which is beautifully decorated with swarovski crystals, pearls and lace, can give you a taste of what awaits you at Egyptiako. Some of their accessories are a bit pricey, but the up side is that they can also custom-make any design you take to them.
