We all have our favourite place to eat for our own reasons. We ask eight public figures which is theirs
Fabrizio Musorella
Food and beverage manager at the Hawaii Grand
Favourite restaurant: I would have to say Piatakia in Limassol and their delicious Greek mezedes, which have a twist to them. I also love their salads that are packed with fresh fruit. It’s a family business with the owner’s mother-in-law and wife in the kitchen, who always prepare tasty and above all fresh food.

Favourite restaurant: I love going to Ð, in Limassol, which is basically a lounge caf? but specialises in salads and that’s what I love. They make a great Avocado and Pastrami salad; a healthy and appetising option.

Favourite restaurant: Many people don’t know this but the Limassol Nautical Club serves great food but what I love most is the salmon with rice. It’s delicious and I know other people die for it too. It really is the perfect place for a meal as you’re near the sea and it all ties together beautifully.

Favourite restaurant: My favourite restaurant has to be Abu Faysal in Nicosia. It’s everything about the place that I love. The owner is always nice, it’s so casual and easy-going, you don’t have to worry about dressing up and I absolutely love the Fattoush salad, among other dishes. It’s like eating at an old aunt’s family kitchen.

Favourite restaurant: Although it’s been around for ages and, from what I know, not many have been to this restaurant, I’m going to have to say Crescendo, in Nicosia is my favourite restaurant by far. The setting is quite nice and comfortable but it’s the fillet mignon that has me going back for more. It’s perfect.

Favourite restaurant: I have a few favourite restaurants but I’m going to say Palaia Electriki in Old Nicosia. I always have their rocket salad but what I love most is the service, which is excellent and the fact that you can combine good food with an after walk around Old Nicosia.
Palaia Electriki: Tel: 22-432559

Favourite restaurant: I’m a big fan of steaks, so I’m going to say Scotties Steak House, in Limassol. It’s been around for 20 years and they make they most tasty and soft steaks I’ve ever tried.

Favourite restaurant: Right now I’m loving a completely new approach to eating out and I would say Chop’d down in Ledra street is my favourite. It has a great design and you can create your own salad. I personally like the Superstar salad which is a great mix of Italian salami and succulent chicken breast. It’s tossed into a mix leaf, lettuce, tomato and chick peas topped with parmesan cheese and a secret dressing. It’s excellent and it leaves me satisfied, not guilty!
