Limassol man rearrested on pimping charges

A 33-YEAR-OLD man from Limassol was remanded for six days yesterday after being arrested for sexual exploitation, maintaining a brothel, pimping and making profits through pornography.

The suspect, an owner of a Limassol beauty salon, was arrested on September 13 by Larnaca CID for similar offences.

Upon his arrest, the 33-year-old made a voluntary statement and allegedly confessed to owning a massage institute in Limassol, in which women offered sex for payment.

The institute in question was searched by police, who found no incriminating evidence.

But following a court order, Limassol CID rearrested the suspect yesterday. Police continue investigations.
