Unfair parking fines, the sequel

Sir,

Further to my last letter regarding unfair parking fines (August2), I would just like to let you know that today we counted 107 cars illegally parked down the Larnaca seafront, and not a policeman in sight (who would only book a couple anyway). If you take into account that cars are coming and going, and therefore those 107 are being replaced with another 107, maybe up to 10 times by the end of the day, then you can do the maths for revenue that the Larnaca municipality would collect. Maybe if someone was allocated to the seafront and put on commission for every car they booked things might be a little different?

…sorry, I forgot, they are too busy fining those on meters or on residential non-yellow lines!
