New private clinic hopes to raise healthcare standards in Cyprus

NICOSIA’S NEWEST private clinic, Areteio, will begin operating gradually in August with great expectations and in the hope that by the beginning of September, all its departments will be in total operation.

Located in the Dasoupolis area of Strovolos, the clinic offers 70 bedsteads and 200 employees, out of which 50 will be doctors.

Motorcycle accident

A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously injured after being struck down by a car in Nicosia on Monday night. The accident occurred on Archbishop Makarios III Avenue in Latsia when, under circumstances still being investigated, the 25-year-old driver of a car crashed into the motorbike being driven by the 21-year-old.
