Columbia Beach Resort
Signature treatment: The Molton Brown Celestial Maracuja Body Polish is a delicious, skin-brightening body therapy with Amazonian Maracuja passionflower, organic raw sugar and rosa mosqueta oil (a thoroughly moder skin care treatment for stretch marks). And just so the men don’t feel left out, there is also a Molton Brown regenerating facial for men, which is a reviving and toning facial therapy with warm African Lifetree and Hungarian carrot oil.
What else: Treatments are divided into four journeys: renew, regenerate, replenish or radiance. There’s also a Temple Lounge for clients to recline and relax in after treatments furnished with low beds and mountains of cushions. A Cocoon seating area surrounded by white drapes is used for discreet consultations before therapies commence and a retail area that is dominated by a heated swimming pool that flows into the outdoor lagoon style pool.
What’s it like: Cosy, quiet and private in a utterly luxurious environment, the Columbia Spa is equipped with top of the range products and professional therapists. The 1,050m² facility boasts five treatment rooms, a spa bath, plunge pool, sauna and steam room. Aphrodite Hills – The Retreat
Signature treatment: The Retreat’s signature treatments are the Thermae Experience and the Hamam Rituals; both highlight the benefits of traditional Greco-Roman Bathing. The first experience includes heat provided through a stove and heated ceramic walls and benches initiating a detoxifying process. It can also help to benefit the respiratory system and soften the skin while cooling showers are taken in between the heat room and the frigidarium, which provides ice shavings to enhance the cooling process, stimulating circulation and refreshing the body between heat experiences.
What else: Thai Massage treatments are performed on a traditional mat on the floor in a dedicated Thai Suite. There’s also a variation called Royal Thai including aromatherapy oils. But if the idea of a massage being enjoyed in a beautiful relaxing garden sounds even better then outdoor massage pavilions are at your feet. With Pevonia Botanica skincare products, containing the most effective natural source ingredients, couples can even enjoy treatments together in the dedicated couples suite. Other treatments include facials, body wraps, exfoliations, massages and hydrotherapy.
What’s it like: With a total of 23 treatment rooms, the luxurious spa facility at the Aphrodite Hills provides soothing treatments for mind, body and soul. The Retreat capitalises on the unique environment that focuses on experiencing and appreciating the culture and history of Cyprus. The outline concept of The Retreat is that of a monastery built on ruins of Roman thermae. This explains the design of the spa area, which is truly monastic, spacious, with galleried hallways and a overuse of stone. Enjoy the edge pool and private balconies.

Hamam Omerye
Signature treatment: Full body massages but unlike anything you are used to. In the actual hamam environment, you can enjoy a 50-minute body massage with essential oils or a Chinese remedy; both are performed on the marble beds. Masseurs are trained physiotherapists capable of unwinding, relaxing and detoxifying you at once.
What else: Hamam Omerye’s face and body treatments are made to tie in with the atmosphere. Due to the fact that while in a hamam your pores open, skin and muscles are more supple and blood circulation is highly activated, the application of certain products, all organic, can work wonders on the skin and well-being. You can try anything from the Body Scrub, Body & Face Peeling and Body & Face Dead Sea Mud Mask. They also offer small massages for the back and head and you can get foot reflexology and hot stone massage.
What’s it like: Just being in a hamam, one of the oldest ways of cleansing the body and mind, can be a refreshing experience. Getting rid of toxins while lying on hot surfaces can leave one feeling calm and at the same time leads to a glowing figure. And contrary to popular belief, in the summer, due to the heat and the tendency to down loads of fluids, you can actually achieve a higher level of detoxification compared to the winter.

Four Seasons Hotel – Thalasso Spa
Signature treatment: Spa officials recommend The Mud Bath Experience for two. The treatment takes place in a specialised steam room covered with beautiful blue mosaic tiles. Two heated seats facing each other and tiny fairy lights twinkling from the ceiling assure the sense of magic. After you are given three types of mud, you can choose to either apply it by yourself or with a second person; cover your face, front and back. Chromotherapy lights and aromatic infused steam commence the treatment for 15 minutes allowing the mud to work out the toxins from your body. A truly wondrous experience.
What else: The Thalasso Spa has much to offer but the new treatments are out of this world. Try the Ayurveda Massage, which is a full body massage using several distinct aromatic oils designed to penetrate deep tissue and relax the muscles. It is then followed by a unique therapy designed for complete relaxation of mind and body. And if the Gold Body Mask Wrap treatment sounds interesting to you, then give it a go. What is it? It involves a floating bed and the Aromasul mud therapy.
What’s it like: Well, the Thalasso Spa is actually the first Thalassotherapy Centre in Cyprus and is quite unique in itself. Thalassotherapy uses seawater and seaweed both of which contain minerals and vitamins in high levels for treatments not just for beauty and of course for total body rejuvenation and relaxation.
