More flights to England for summer rush

BRITISH AIRWAYS has announced an increase in its summer flights schedule to 19 per week, making the airline ready to satisfy increased demand over the summer period for the favoured routes of Larnaca-Heathrow, Paphos-Gatwick and Paphos-Manchester.

The schedule covers the period between March 26 and October 28 and will include eight flights a week from Larnaca to Heathrow, seven from Paphos to Gatwick and four flights from Paphos to Manchester.

Furthermore, the airline will add extra flights as follows: one from Paphos to Gatwick from March 29 to April 26, one from Paphos to Gatwick between May 3 and September 28, and one from Paphos to Manchester between May 1 and October 28.

Commenting on the summer schedule announcement, British Airways Manager Cyprus, Marianna Trokoudes, said: “The number of flights we are offering for our 2006 summer schedule is similar to last year’s, which proved very successful. Our intention is to always give our passengers the maximum possible number of options.”
