An eye for an eye

Sir,

Please! Please! do not make the same mistakes our goverment has made.

If the sentences are strong and severe, the crime rate will stay low. If the do-gooders intervene and quote ‘human rights’, look the other way. Just look at who they are calling ‘human’.

If only our robbers and thugs were given nine years, we would not be where we are today in this country. Law and order has gone out of the window, there is no deterrent. We shoot our young and vunerable policewomen (two in three months), and if the perpetrators are caught, they will serve far less then your robbers.

A life for a life, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, it was good 2,000 years ago and would certainly be the deterrent we need today.
