Cocktail of the week with Fabrizio Musorella

Blood & Sand

There is Bourbon, and there is Irish whiskey, Scotch whisky, rye and Tennessee whiskey. The word “whiskey” (its pronunciation) derives from the Gaelic “uisque beatha” meaning the water of life. Each country produces a different style using a slightly different method. However all whiskies are made from grain but each type has a unique flavor due to the local water, type of grain, the way the grain is processed, the method of distillation (still), the ageing process and of course blending. Try one of the best Scotch-based cocktails made for the premier of the Rudolf Valentino’s film Blood & Sand. Salute!
