Police officer caught in gay threesome

A SPECIAL constable of the Nicosia Police Headquarters was yesterday remanded in custody on prostitution-related charges.

Nicosia CID had raided an apartment in Nicosia yesterday, where they found two men engaging in gay sex with a foreign woman also present. Arresting officers soon discovered that one of the arrested men was none other than a colleague, a special police constable stationed at Nicosia police headquarters.

A police source yesterday told the Cyprus Mail that the officer, who could not be named for legal reasons, was “a quiet fellow”.

“From what I know, the man was rather odd and from what I remember he was sort of crouched with a cigarette always in his mouth. But to be honest, I am rather shocked to have heard this about him. I know he was a bit weird but I never imagined he would have been mixed up in things like this.”

Officers soon discovered that the arrested constable had been recently divorced and had been advertising in various newspaper ads, “searching for both males and females for the purpose of sex.”

Also arrested and kept in remand for six days was the other man involved in the threesome and the foreign woman, believed to have been Russian.

Police Spokesman Demetris Demetriou told the Cyprus Mail, “So far, the only details we have that is official is that a constable and a man and woman have been arrested and held in remand for six days on charges of prostitution. We do not know if the acts were done at his own residence or not.”
