Conscripts punished after ten-man guard post romp

CONSCRIPTS who engaged in an alleged sexual orgy at a Nicosia guard post on the Green Line have been dishonourably transferred out of the capital.

According to the shock revelation in Politis newspaper, “an intense military exercise’ was said to have taken place between ten soldiers and a woman just under a month ago at a Nicosia guard post. In surprisingly tongue-in-cheek style, the Greek-language daily described the married, mother of three’s actions as “doing her part to boost the boys’ morale”.

The woman was reported to have had sex with all of the conscripts, including the officer on duty. According to footage that was recorded on a mobile telephone and of which had circulated around the army camp, the soldiers had lined up, with the officer first. Politis, described the order taken as a display of “good discipline within the ranks”.

The soldiers then took turns having sex with the woman who was lying on one of the bunk beds.
Reports said even the conscripts delivering the food to the guard post couldn’t resist the temptation and joined in before moving on to deliver the rest of the food at the other awaiting guard posts.

But the smiles on the faces of the conscripts faded away when the shocking footage fell into the hands of the Commander of the National Guard Lieutenant General Athanasios Nikolodemos who immediately instructed his officers to launch an investigation into the matter.

The soldiers who took part in the group romp were given jail time then immediately dishonourably transferred to other army camps on the island.

An official of the National Guard told the Cyprus Mail that the incident “was very serious and that the military would not accept such despicable behaviour.”
