Exhausted but relieved, Milo the dog comes home

MILO, the missing dog of Prodromos Prodromou, Chairman of the European Democrats and deputy for Nicosia, has been found, five days after he disappeared. The young Jack Russell was spotted in the CyBC area by a local man, not far from Prodromou’s home.

According to Prodromou Milo’s distinctive colouring made him very easy to recognise.

“The man who found Milo called the police first, but was informed that it was not their job to pick up stray dogs. He then rang the Municipality, who collected Milo and returned him to us.”

Prodromou went on to add that his young pet was unharmed.

“He was a little exhausted but otherwise he was fine. I think he is very glad to be back at home and I don’t think he will be escaping again; this experience has been quite enough for him.

“We did offer the man the promised reward, but he would not take anything from us” Prodromou added, “so I guess I owe him now.”
