Help a deputy find his dog

THE Chairman of the European Democrats and deputy for Nicosia Prodromos Prodromou has reported the loss of his dog, a Jack Russell named Milo. Prodromou’s pet was named by his son, after the heroic hound that appeared in the film The Mask, starring Jim Carey and Cameron Diaz.

According to Prodromou, Milo went missing last Thursday and has not yet been found.

“Milo was last seen at around midnight on Thursday by a friend of mine. He is a small dog, and is only around six months old. Like all Jack Russells he is predominantly white, and has brown patches around his eyes.”

Prodromou went on to add that the fame which his pet has recently acquired came as rather a surprise.

“At first I didn’t think to advertise, I was rather upset when Milo went missing, but on Friday several announcements were published in local newspapers. A few announcements were also made on local radio stations. I was very surprised by the sudden interest people took in these announcements.

“Milo went missing in the CyBC area and we are offering a reward to anyone who finds him,” Prodromou added.
