Greek Cypriot asylum seeker returns from the north

A 56-YEAR-old Greek Cypriot who sought asylum in the north almost a month ago yesterday returned to the government-controlled areas.

Themistocles Georgiou crossed the UN-controlled buffer zone on June 23, claiming he wanted to live in the north because of repeated injustices at the hands of the Cyprus government.
