The decline of Pissouri beach

I agree with yesterday’s letter on the state of Pissouri beach, which is a disgrace.

A few years ago the beach and promenade were improved in preparation for the ‘Blue Flag Award’; since getting the award, the beach area has been left to decline over the past three to four years. What a waste of public money. No repairs have been carried out; the beach is only partly cleaned once in June.

it is a disgrace to a once beautiful resort and tourism has declined accordingly. Presumably they do not still have the ‘Blue Flag’.

What a shame.
