PRESIDENT Tassos Papadopoulos will begin a visit to London on July 26, following an invitation by British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Papadopoulos said in Brussels where he is attending the EU summit that he would also visiting Paris on November 4 at the invitation of his French counterpart Jacques Chirac. Blair’s invitation was extended to Papadopoulos last month but no date was announced at the time. Britain assumes the six monthly presidency of the European Union on July 1 and is also the current president of the G8 group, which meets at the beginning of July.
