DIKO should now join the extremist merger

Sir,
I think it is great that the two extremist parties have joined forces and I would urge DIKO to join them too so that all the right-wing extremist parties are together out in the open.

This opens the way for DISY to progress into the liberal democratic party with a socially conservative agenda it can and should become. The split was necessary for DISY to move forward. Hopefully it will move closer to the United Democrats.
I hope that the gravitation of the extremist right-wing parties together will also lead to the left-wing parties acting less like nationalist left-wing parties (like Tito’s Yugoslavia, Nasser’s Egypt, the Baathists in Syria and Iraq) and take their rightful place as anti-nationalists and social progressives.

Cypriot politics needs to progress from the colonial rhythm it still seems to be stuck in.
