Cocktail of the week with Fabrizio Musorella

Negroni
This week I take you on a trip to my native Italy, where the origins of this cocktail date back to around 1919 Florence. This is an aperitif with noble roots, deriving its name from Count Cammillo Negroni who, in his favourite Casoni Bar, wanted to add a little boost to his regular drink, the Americano (campari, vermouth and soda). Ingredients
3cl gin
3cl bitter Campari
3cl sweet vermouth (red)
Soda water (optional)

Preparation
Pour all the ingredients into an old-fashioned glass with 4 ice cubes.
Stir (add the soda if preferred). Garnish with a slice of orange or twist a piece of orange peel over the drink and drop it inside
