Cocktail of the week

Brandy Alexander
Classic cocktails are unaffected by the passing of time. Most are a reminder of the Prohibition era but have also attained cult status in today’s times. This smooth and creamy mix became hugely popular in the 1960s and 70s.It is a variation of the original gin-based Alexander (a Prohibition favourite circa 1922). Nowadays it is considered to be something of a ladies’ drink.
