CY in damage control over strike

CYPRUS Airways (CY) announced last night that the strike measures were due to affect 14 flights scheduled for today to and from Cyprus.

The company was making other arrangements in a bid to carry all affected passengers to their destinations with the least possible delay, the announcement said.

CY expressed its regret for any possible delay and asked passengers to contact the company customer service centre on 8000-0008.

Meanwhile the flights to Tel Aviv and Aman, which were scheduled to depart at 10pm last night were to be carried out using a single aircraft, which was expected to depart at 10.30pm.
