Same old tune from most Turkish Cypriots

Sir,

I am writing to express my great disappointment with most of the Greek-Cypriot journalists who are given the opportunity to interview Turkish Cypriot politicians.

Nearly all of them never put any real and difficult questions to these politicians. All the Turkish – Cypriot politicians that I have listened to on TV or radio and the Turkish Cypriots that I had the opportunity to speak to give you stereotyped answers, that all their suffering is because of the Greek Cypriots.

They seem to forget that they have been occupying the most fertile land in Cyprus for 30 years, that they looted billions of pounds in 1974 and still managed to keep the occupied part of Cyprus 60 years backward.

They give you the impression that the Greek-Cypriots owe them something and that they should keep all the land they have stolen while sharing the wealth and the power of the rest of Cyprus.

I am not a nationalist and never was. I lived in England for 27 years and was a race relation officer but the attitude of these people makes me feel sick.
